Created Western Energy Planners, Ltd. to provide engineering, economic,
and environmental consulting services in the renewable energy technologies
for public and private applications throughout the Rocky Mountain and Western
States. Principal participant in DOE's geothermal resource planning program.
Golden, Colorado (1982-83)
Coauthored technical papers with Dr. Frank Keith and others on solar energy
technologies. Participated in the Director's early planning to advance SERI
to a national laboratory status.
Ft. Collins, Colorado (1983-86)
Created the for-profit Colorado Research Development Corporation as a spin-off
of the non-profit Research Institute of Colorado. CRDC was one of the first
entities in the U.S. dedicated to transferring university R&D into commercial
products via the SBIR program.
