Visited Hong Kong technical institutes and universities three times to explore
collaborative programs in technology incubation, technology transfer, and
venture capital. Offered position of Director of Technology Transfer with
the new Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Shanghai, Xian, and Beijing, China (PRC) (1987)
Member of 12-person team of senior Georgia Tech administrators on trip to
enhance existing university to university relations with six technology-oriented
Chinese universities. Presented success stories of the ATDC in technology
entrepreneurship and tech transfer.
